I secretly like waking up before the sun. It’s perfect out today. I just think everything’s wonderful right now. I don’t know what’s got me so moonstruck; the sweets baking, the holidays, these precious growing pups, my favorite human coming home in a week. I’m saying it’s a combination of these, amongst other blessings. Throwing a cinnamon bun bake together for breakfast, then organizing & painting my nails is a top priority. Livin’. Be thankful!

Happy Thanksgiving! Still in my apron. Yesterday was 84, 3 degrees away from breaking the record for warmest Thanksgiving eve. Today’s been a visionary fall/winter day, blustery & overcast. They’re predicting it’ll get down to 20something tonight, skimming the record for coldest Thanksgiving night. Oh mother nature. We’ve been laying in front of the fire sipping coffee & eating pie & tarts, watching Hook & plotting our plan of attack for Black Friday. I know what you’re thinking & i’m a beast. This will be no feat. Cheers! Stay warm Texas folks.
